𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗡𝗖 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴!

Starting the week with an impressive convoi exceptionnel: the transport of a UNITWIN for our customer Ramkrishna Forgings Limited in India.

A spectacular sight as this XXL truck leaves our production facility, carrying a massive crate containing the CNC machine, weighing 26,500 kg and measuring approximately 8 metres in length. 💪
Next stop: the Port of Rotterdam, followed by a long sea voyage to Kolkata, India.

The UNITWIN will be used for machining truck front axles. This will be the customer's fifth UNITWIN machine, significantly expanding their machining capacity for truck front axles.

𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱!

Today, we welcomed visitors from the Czech Republic: a team from our customer ZAKO Turčín together with Radek Šopf from our local representative MRM Machinery s.r.o.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧? The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of ZAKO’s new UNIPORT6000-HV at our facility in Panningen.
And everything went according to plan! By mid-afternoon, the FAT was successfully completed and the acceptance documents were signed.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩? Dismantling the machine and preparing it for transport to ZAKO Turčín in Březnice, Czech Republic.

The new UNIPORT6000-HV features a continuous 5-axis machining head and impressive travels of 12,000 × 3,500 × 1,500 mm (X/Y/Z). It will provide ZAKO Turčín, spol. s r.o. with additional machining capacity and greater flexibility for producing large and complex components.

𝟮𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿

More than 20 years ago, Bouman invested in its first Unisign machine: a UNIPORT6000. A machine that still runs an average of 20 hours a day today.

Now, Bouman is taking a significant step forward with a new UNIPORT7000. More capacity, larger machining dimensions and a freely programmable 5-axis milling head give the company the flexibility to take on increasingly large and complex components.

The new CNC machine will support Bouman’s high-precision machining activities for industries including semiconductor, defence, aerospace and offshore.

𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲! ✅

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝟮𝟬-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗠𝟲𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Following the successful completion of the first phase, which included a complete electrical rewiring, we have now also finalized the second and final stage of this retrofit project.

During the mechanical overhaul, the machine's rotary table was completely rebuilt. The work included the installation of a new two-stage gearbox and drive motors, together with the assembly of new roller bearings and ring gear on the pallet carrier.

With both the electrical and mechanical overhaul now completed, this UNICOM6000 is ready for many more years of reliable production. The machine is future-ready and will continue machining large and demanding components, such as pump housings, with the accuracy, reliability and performance expected from a Unisign machining centre.

A good example of how a well-executed retrofit can significantly extend the service life of high-quality CNC machines.

Na bijna 19 jaar bij Unisign is voor Carlie het moment aangebroken om afscheid te nemen en te gaan genieten van zijn pensioen!

Als Constructie Bankwerker/Lasser heeft Carlie in al die jaren aan heel wat machines en projecten zijn bijdrage geleverd. Met zijn ervaring en vakmanschap was hij een vertrouwd gezicht binnen Unisign.

We danken Carlie voor zijn inzet, de fijne samenwerking en de vele jaren die hij deel uitmaakte van ons team. Geniet van de vrije tijd, we wensen je een heel fijn pensioen toe!

Recently our customer ZAKO Turčín, spol. s r.o. in the Czech Republic celebrated its 30th anniversary with an open day for customers and business partners. For this event, we created a video showing the new UNIPORT6000-HV currently in assembly for ZAKO at our facility.

The new is equipped with a continuous 5-axis machining head and generous travels of 12,000 × 3,500 × 1,500 mm (X/Y/Z), and will provide additional capacity and greater flexibility for machining large and complex components.

𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗸 𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗷𝗻: “𝗕𝗶𝗷 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗯 𝗶𝗸 𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗷𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗸𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻.”

Martijn Bekkers begon in 2018 bij Unisign als elektromonteur. Daarna maakte hij de overstap naar elektrisch tekenaar en inmiddels werkt hij als opstarter op onze afdeling Eindmontage.

Een functie waarin techniek, precisie en puzzelen samenkomen. Want een machine in bedrijf stellen? Dat is volgens Martijn nooit simpelweg stekker erin en het werkt. 😉

𝗕𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗲, 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗲

Met meer dan 200 bamboestokken en een flinke voorraad postelastieken een toren van maar liefst 8 meter hoog bouwen? Laat dat maar aan onze collega’s en hun partners over!

Afgelopen zaterdag stond ons personeelsuitje in het teken van teamwork, enthousiasme en vooral veel plezier.😄Tijdens verschillende actieve teamspellen werd er gestreden met onder andere levend tafelvoetbal, Word Fight en het bouwen van een heuse katapult. Team paars kwam uiteindelijk als winnaar uit de bus en mocht de ch*****ne ontkurken!

Als gezamenlijke afsluiter wachtte nog één flinke uitdaging: de 8 meter hoge bamboetoren. Met vereende krachten kwam hij er. 💪Een tikje wiebelig misschien, maar hij bleef overeind. Een mooi staaltje teamwork!

Na alle inspanningen was het tijd om gezellig na te borrelen op het terras aan het water bij Beachclub Degreez 🏖️, gevolgd door een heerlijke BBQ.
Een geslaagde, actieve én gezellige personeelsmiddag! 😎

𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗘 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴

“Mogen we bij jullie in de productie onze medewerkers fotograferen en filmen voor promotie- en wervingsdoeleinden?” Met die vraag klopte SPIE enige tijd geleden bij ons aan.

Daar werken we natuurlijk graag aan mee. Niet alleen omdat onze productieomgeving een mooi technisch decor vormt, maar ook omdat het een goede gelegenheid is om de jarenlange prettige samenwerking tussen SPIE en Unisign te benoemen. Een samenwerking waarin flexibiliteit en vakmanschap een belangrijke rol spelen.

Gisteren was het zover. wars | creatief bureau kwam bij ons op locatie voor een foto- en videoshoot met SPIE-medewerkers Kay en Robert en onze Unisign-collega’s Paul en Martin.

Mooi om zo het vakmanschap achter de machinebouw in de spotlight te zetten.
