NEW PROJECT M/Y LUCIA
Altena Yachting is proud to announce that we have secured a new build contract M/Y Lucia.
This remarkable yacht has been designed by Vripack Design and developed for worldwide cruising, with a specific focus on expeditions in Arctic waters. For this reason, the hull construction around the waterline will be reinforced and strengthened to withstand the most demanding conditions.
The Lucia will be built under CE-A and CVO certification. The round-bilged hull will be constructed in steel, with a total length of 20.00 meters (65 ft) and a beam of 6.24 meters (20.6 ft). The aluminum superstructure ensures an optimal balance between strength and weight, with the yacht’s total displacement reaching approximately 90 tons.
The vessel will be powered by two six-cylinder John Deere main engines, each delivering 249 hp (176 kW). Thanks to a fuel capacity of 17,000 liters, the Lucia will achieve an impressive range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles at an average cruising speed of 7 knots.
Construction is scheduled to commence in September 2026.
