Brussels Airport Company improving their safety with the use of drones was no April Fools. At first sight, drones don’t seem at home at a public airport, but this test has proven they can be useful, quick and efficient tools in securing airway safety.
We are happy we could accommodate our partners Brussels Airport Company, Citymesh and skeydrone by creating a SORA and providing our AirSure SORA-software to ensure absolute safety when flying a UAS beyond visual line of sight.
If you would like more information or receive a demo about our AirSure SORA-software, don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
Drones are prohibited at and around the airport. But this week Brussels Airport, skeyes and Citymesh are testing the operational use of drones so don’t be surprised if you do spot one today or tomorrow. In a secure environment, an innovative safety drone will be tested to find out how it can increase the safety and efficiency of our operations. And we are also testing a drone detection system to detect unwanted drones.
