MB Plastics werd in 2000 opgericht als Nederlandse dochter van Motherwell Bridge Ltd. Dit traditionele, degelijk en robuuste no-nonsense bedrijf is al ruim 100 jaar een begrip in de constructiewereld en werd opgericht in 1898. In 2010 werd MB Plastics Europe BV overgenomen door Berendsen Beheer BV, dat sterk focuste op groei in West Europa en nieuwe markten als Azië en Midden Oosten. Door het aan

gaan van strategische samenwerkingsverbanden werd de capaciteit en breedte van het programma binnen het fluorkunststof specialisme snel verruimt. Naast het Teflon bekleden van stalen leidingsystemen kan men inmiddels ook het bekleden en coaten van tanks, tank containers en groter equipment aanbieden. De activiteiten en service werden uitgebreid van de (petro)chemische industrie naar diverse branches waar fluorkunststoffen hun meerwaarde hebben; Biotechnologie, life-science, Semiconductor en de(nucleaire)energiemarkt. MB Plastics Europe BV biedt u de ervaring en kennis en geeft u oplossingen voor al uw corrosieproblemen op een turn-key basis. De activiteiten zijn onderverdeeld in 4 divisies:

Corrosive media doesn’t just damage equipment; it creates a constant maintenance headache.

At MB Plastics, we’ve found that the biggest point of failure in chemical processing is often the valve’s internal working parts coming into contact with the process stream.

Our PFA-lined Weir Type Diaphragm Valves solve this by completely isolating those mechanical parts. By using a high-grade PTFE/Neoprene diaphragm and a thick 3-5mm PFA lining, the media never touches the spindle or bonnet.

A few reasons why these are a staple for our customers:

- Zero Leakage: They meet Class VI standards (the highest for bubble-tight shutoff).

- Control: They’re actually effective for throttling, not just open/close.

- Durability: The body is Ductile Iron (GGG40.3), but the chemical resistance is nearly universal thanks to the PFA/FEP lining.

- From stock: We keep a stock of all sizes to ensure a smooth buying process. Most lined valves are hard to get by, and we try to eliminate this problem to increase customer satisfaction
