Vorige week verruilden we onze werkplaats voor De Ketelfabriek tijdens ons personeelsuitje. Een middag vol verschillende spellen, gezonde competitie en vooral veel plezier!

Dat we goed kunnen samenwerken, wisten we al. Maar dit keer werden ook onze andere talenten op de proef gesteld. En dat leverde genoeg mooie momenten op 😉

Meet Koen van de Ven, our new General Manager at Elsto Smart Solutions.

Robotics and production automation have fascinated Koen since his years in the automotive industry. Now he brings that experience, together with his knowledge of food and egg automation, to Elsto.

His ambition? To make Elsto the partner food producers think of when they want to automate a process that needs more than a standard solution.

For Koen, that starts with a strong team, clear communication and solutions that do what they promise. Practical, reliable and always built around the customer’s process.

With one robot, the SmartPacker can handle up to 40,000 eggs every hour.

It takes over repetitive packing tasks and keeps the process running fast, consistently and efficiently.

The result?
More production capacity with fewer people required for the same process.

At this carrot grower, up to 15 tons of carrots are processed every single day.
Crates weighing up to 20 kilos, stacked continuously, hour after hour.

This system handles up to 550 crates per hour without interruption.
Managing different crate types and sizes in one continuous flow.

With automatic top sheet placement for product protection.
And a fully integrated transport system to keep everything moving.
