Last week, we welcomed 22 girls to Nemag for Girls Day. A great opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and experience what working in engineering and manufacturing really looks like.

From the workshop to our daily operations, they got a hands-on introduction to the world of bulk handling.
And they didn’t just observe, they also created something of their own to take home.

Moments like this matter. Not just to show what we do, but to spark curiosity and open doors for the next generation.

Who knows, a bright future in engineering and manufacturing could be ahead… and we wouldn’t mind seeing it happen at Nemag.

Van voorbereiding tot eindassemblage: ons werk is teamwork. Op de werkvloer wordt ervaring dagelijks gedeeld – tussen collega’s, over projecten heen en door nauwe samenwerking in de praktijk.

Werken met zwaar staal onder veeleisende omstandigheden vraagt om vertrouwen, vakmanschap en oog voor detail. Iedereen speelt een rol, en elke stap telt.

Die samenwerking is wat zwaar staal omvormt tot hoogwaardige apparatuur, gebouwd om te presteren in de praktijk.

Afgelopen zaterdag organiseerden we weer “Kom jij het bij ons maken?”, met maar liefst 180 kinderen die hun eigen knikkerbaan bouwden.

Mooi om te zien dat zoveel deelnemers elk jaar terugkomen. En misschien nog wel mooier:
"Nemag is het leukste bedrijf, hier is zoveel te doen!"

Dank aan alle collega’s die dit mogelijk hebben gemaakt.

Last Saturday, we hosted another edition of “Come and build with us”, welcoming 180 children who built their own marble runs.

Great to see so many returning participants each year. And even better to hear:

In its early years, Nemag was a blacksmith and construction workshop, taking on whatever the market asked.

From deck machinery and cranes to gears, conveyors and crushers. Nemag built it all. Even the Dutch Navy was among its early customers.

Nemag contributed to iconic Dutch infrastructure projects such as the Delta Works and the Afsluitdijk. A sign of engineering capabilities and reliability from the very beginning.

Grabs were already part of the portfolio. Over time, one thing became clear:
Nemag’s strength in engineering and durability translated exceptionally well into grab technology.

From that moment on, specialization followed.

What started as “taking on everything” evolved into mastering one thing.
