Foundation transportation milestone on East Anglia THREE

The completion of the final monopile transport marks the close of an 18-month logistics campaign, supporting the ongoing installation of the 95 foundations offshore. From fabrication yards in Fene, Bilbao and Avilés to the marshalling yard in Vlissingen, our teams have coordinated the transport of monopiles, transition pieces and anode cages, ready for installation. With installation progressing offshore, this project is a truly joined-up effort across Seaway7 teams.

With special thanks to our transport vessel providers SAL and BigLift, and our clients Masdar and ScottishPower Renewables.

Take a look at this short video of the final monopiles arriving in Vlissingen, capturing the scale of the campaign 👇

🌿 International Day for Biological Diversity | Understanding Nature to protect it

On the International Day for Biological Diversity, we’re reminded that protecting nature starts with understanding it.

Through our annual Biodiversity Mapping Challenge, colleagues observe, capture, and share the wildlife and plant life they encounter at work. By building this shared knowledge, we gain valuable insights into the ecosystems we operate in, helping us identify ways to reduce our impact and better support nature — both through our own assessments and future collaborations.

📷 Check out some of the photos from our Biodiversity Challenges held in Autumn 2024 and Spring 2025, featuring observations from colleagues across our global Seaway7 worksites — offices and vessels alike, showcasing biodiversity distribution across our operations worldwide.

Small actions. Shared knowledge. Real impact. 🌱

Seaway7 is pleased to announce that it has completed offshore operations for the installation of inner-array grid and export cables on the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project in Taiwan.

The scope of work included the transport and installation of inner-array cables, the respective cable protection systems, and four export cables connected from the offshore substation to the landfall site using horizontal directional drilling (HDD).

The cable installation was carried out by cable-lay vessel Skandi Connector, chartered to Seaway7, and supported by the Orient Constructor walk to work vessel through Seaway7’s partner, DFO. Ex*****on of the scope was led from Seaway7’s Taipei office in Taiwan.

Graeme Shotton, Seaway7’s Project Director said, “Congratulations to our vessel and project teams whose dedication and perseverance over the past three years have delivered this important milestone. While the project presented challenges along the way, these were successfully overcome through close collaboration with our client, local partners and subcontractors. A great example of teamwork, resilience, and shared commitment to success.”

The 海龍離岸風電計畫 Hai Long Offshore Wind Farm Project, consisting of Hai Long No. 2 and No. 3 wind farms, is jointly developed by Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Northland Power Inc., and Gentari International Renewables Pte. Ltd. with a total installed capacity of over 1GW. The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project is 45-70 kilometres off the Changhua coast with the water depth of 35-60 metres.

At Seaway7, we believe that when we invest our time, knowledge and energy in others, we strengthen not only our communities but also our industry. This is the spirit of Give to Gain, the theme of International Women’s Day 2026 - a reminder that the impact we create grows when we lift others up.

One of the ways we bring this to life is through our partnership with OffshoreWind4Kids. Across beach demonstrations, floating wind challenges and hands‑on STEM workshops, our employees introduce children and students to offshore wind in ways that are practical, exciting and accessible.

These experiences spark curiosity, build confidence, and help young people from all backgrounds see a place for themselves in renewable energy. By giving their time and expertise, our volunteers are helping build future diversity in offshore wind - showing the next generation that their ideas and perspectives belong here, and contributing to an industry that is stronger, more innovative and more inclusive.

To mark International Women’s Day, we spoke to colleagues across Seaway7 about what they gained from giving back through OffshoreWind4Kids and how inspiring young people has inspired them in return.

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating how the simple act of giving - our time, our guidance, our experience - creates space for others to grow, and strengthens our whole organisation. At Seaway7, our graduate programme is built on exactly this principle: when we give aspiring talent real opportunities, we gain a stronger, more innovative future.

👀Curious what life looks like for a graduate engineer at Seaway7?

Our newest “A Day in the Life of” video follows Graduate Engineer Eva Eggink onboard the Seaway Ventus - capturing how hands-on learning, real project experience and strong mentorship shape the experience of our graduates.

🎥 Watch Eva’s story - a perfect example of how when we give, we all gain.

As we approach International Women’s Day, this year’s theme - “Give to Gain” - is a powerful reminder that inclusion begins with each of us.

Through our 7Ally Upstander programme, colleagues are building the skills to recognise the impact of their behaviour, take small but meaningful inclusive actions, and stand up for one another when it counts.

Over half our colleagues have already completed the programme, with more sessions planned through 2026.

Together we’re building an inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. Greater inclusion leads to stronger connections and benefits for all.
