The Energy Duchess, delivered in 2019, is a multipurpose field and platform supply vessel designed by Ulstein Design & Solutions AS. Golden Energy Offshore owns this vessel, which is recognised for its exceptional station-keeping capabilities and provides outstanding stability in challenging environments. Its innovative X-BOW® design contributes to lower fuel consumption and reduced energy usage, particularly during rough seas and transits, which are common for this type of vessel. The Energy Duchess highlights a strong commitment to both efficiency and environmental responsibility. She is prepared for an active heave compensation (AHC) crane and a robust ROV mezzanine deck, enabling it to perform as a survey and construction vessel.
The vessel was built in China at Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipments Co., Ltd ('ROC') yard.
