The debut of the Ø Audio Ymir loudspeakers at AXPONA 2026 was one of the bigger news items in Schaumburg--in fact, when you took the escalator up from the ground floor to the lobby, a static pairs of Ymirs was the first thing you'd see. At AXPONA, Quintessence Audio held several of the show’s most prominent rooms, surrounded by many of the people and brands that continue to shape high end audio.

A strong frame to be part of.

And yes, the axe was in the air.

Mjölnir was already taken. So we brought our own.

Careful, Mick is wielding the Viking Axe! This year's Axpona was absolutley crazy, with GenZ, attendance was up 52% and that is fantastic! We tried to grab everyone for a quick photo during all of the chaos, and we missed a couple but what ana amazing group none the less. Patrick, the Boulder, dCS and D'Agostino boys were busy DJ'ing but we did manage to get Dan D'Agostino.
