A90 Supra race-spec Headlights design is done 👍 😀

Would there be any interest in these kinds of headlights? 🫵 Considering making a small batch of 20 sets (left and right). Production is vacuum casting using Nylon 2180 for strength and durability.

Option with LED lighting is possible (under development).

Or combination of LED and cold air intake - like the renders.

A90 Supra Race-Spec Headlight design | Final Tweaks
Thanks to for great collaboration!

After full size 3D-printed prototype was tested, validated, and design interations. I did some more 3D scanning with the EinScan Rigil at the clients shop, so that the headlight design can fit all Supras with an OEM crash bar.

I'm now in the process of finding a partner in innovative addictive manufacturing, so that my design can become reality. Can't wait to see the final results 🤩

Final Result! 🤩 NURBS race car wide-body exterior design project

All within a CAD to mesh deviation of 1.0mm – thanks to Pro! This project would’ve been like designing blindfolded without it. Really happy with how it turned out 🙂I also used QUICKSURFACE to set up XYZ world coordinates for all mesh components, optimize the mesh for great performance, and define design features based on the surrounding mesh geometry.

3D scanning the race car chassis was done with the EinScan HX – always delivers professional results 😀

NURBS modeling done in Plasticity Studio.

Final Control 🤓 | Three-part Rear Section done | NURBS Race Car exterior design

Checking design flow and CAD to Mesh deviation between all different parts assembled correctly in 3D space. World coordinates have remained the same throughout the project, while exporting and importing STEP and STL files between different software.

// Sneak peek 🤩 | Update on the NURBS Race Car exterior Design Project

This rear fiberglass fender was in pretty bad condition, as it was 3D scanned while mounted on the race car chassis (stretched), used, and warped.
I used EinScan HX for this - with the best result 🙂

And due to the parts condition, NURBS modeling was used for this complex design - completely redesigned from ground up! Because of this - some deviation between CAD and scan-data was expected. This part is pretty much done, made in 3mm solid body.

Really excited to show you the final result soon! 🤩 The entire race car rendered with a redesigned body-kit.

cadworks 3D scanned the broken part using EinScan HX, Reverse Engineered to a fully parametric CAD model with the best software

Lastly I 3D printet it in a strong filament, with excellent results!
