“We already have internal CAMO capability.”

This is a statement frequently heard within the industry.

However, operational realities often evolve rapidly:
- key personnel departures
- increasing regulatory workload
- fleet expansion or transition projects
- authority findings
- aircraft import/export requirements
- urgent AOG coordination
- growing complexity of continuing airworthiness oversight

In today’s regulatory environment, maintaining effective continuing airworthiness management requires not only compliance, but also adaptability, depth of expertise, and operational resilience.

As a result, many operators are seeking:
- complementary technical expertise
- independent oversight
- flexible external support capacity
- additional operational resilience
- rapid access to experienced CAMO personnel across multiple jurisdictions

At NORDIC AVIATION CAMO & CONSULTING, we support helicopter, business aviation, and general aviation operators with responsive and operationally focused continuing airworthiness management and consulting services throughout Europe.

An independent CAMO perspective can often help identify vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, or compliance risks that may remain unnoticed within day-to-day operations.

Whether your organization is:
- reviewing its current CAMO structure
- preparing for regulatory oversight
- managing aircraft transitions
- expanding operational activities
- facing resource limitations
- seeking additional technical support capability
our team remains available for a confidential and professional discussion regarding your operational and regulatory objectives.

Don’t miss our latest article exploring one of the most critical milestones in an aircraft’s lifecycle - the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) renewal process.

Discover key insights into planning, regulatory requirements, operational anticipation, and best practices to ensure a smooth renewal process while avoiding delays, compliance issues, or potential aircraft grounding.

For many aircraft owners and operators, the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) renewal is perceived as an administrative milestone. In reality, it is a critical regulatory process that directly impacts the aircraft’s ability to continue flying legally and safely.

From Paper to Digital: How We Became Full Paperless !

At NORDIC AVIATION CAMO & CONSULTING, we bring extensive experience in fully digital aircraft management, as our entire organization operates in a completely paperless environment.

This transition wasn’t just about removing paper, it was about transforming the way we work, collaborate, and deliver value at each steps.

💡 Why go paperless?
We identified key challenges with traditional paper-based processes:
• Time-consuming document handling
• Risk of errors or lost information
• Limited traceability and accessibility
• Environmental impact

🌐 Our digital transformation journey
By embracing digital solutions, we:
✅ Centralized documentation for instant access
✅ Improved traceability and compliance
✅ Enhanced efficiency across teams
✅ Reduced administrative workload
✅ Strengthened data security

✈️ In a highly regulated environment like aviation, going paperless also means ensuring that processes remain compliant while becoming more agile reliable and fully auditable at any time.

🌱 The result?
A smarter, faster, and more sustainable way of working, aligned with our commitment to innovation and operational excellence. This achievement reflects the dedication of our teams and our willingness to continuously improve.

This Airbus Helicopters has just arrived at its new home in Italy following a smooth and efficient ferry flight ✈️

The whole process was completed in record time, thanks to excellent collaboration with Østnes Helicopters, who led the remarketing. The buyer was able to perform the ferry flight only two days after the transfer of title a great example of what strong coordination and expertise can achieve.

Our team was entrusted with managing both the ferry flight and the deregistration, once again demonstrating the value of having the right expertise when it comes to aircraft transitions and working seamlessly with local aviation authorities. Being able to rely on in-house capabilities, including the privilege to issue Permits to Fly, ensures speed, reliability, and full control throughout the process.

A special thank you to Cathrine for the great collaboration on this transaction, and it was a pleasure meeting Piergiorgio and his team to mark this exciting milestone.

Another successful delivery and a proud moment for everyone involved 👏

Ciao SE-JYT !

Part‑26 Compliance Delivered - Fleet‑Wide & In‑Depth ✅

We’ve just completed an extensive EASA Part‑26 compliance review covering 4 different aircraft types and 30 individual aircraft, a significant milestone for continued airworthiness and operational safety.

EASA Part‑26 introduces Additional Airworthiness Specifications for aircraft already in service. Its purpose is clear: ensuring that ageing aircraft continue to meet today’s safety standards, even if those requirements were not applicable at the time of the original type certification.

🔍 What does a Part‑26 review really involve?
Our assessment covered in depth all the additional certification requirements such as:
• Ageing aircraft structures - fatigue, corrosion and damage‑tolerance considerations integrated into the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP),
• Fire protection & cabin safety – including materials, equipment and system upgrades where applicable,
• Emergency exits & occupant protection - ensuring compliance with updated survivability requirements,
• Occupant survivability - when hostile environment operations are involved,

Part‑26 compliance is mandatory and typically verified through AMP approval and continuing airworthiness oversight with dedicated compliance tracking. Getting it right requires not only regulatory knowledge, but also a deep understanding of aircraft design data, operational context and certification realities.

📊 Managing 30 aircraft across multiple types demanded a structured, evidence‑based approach, and close coordination between design data, maintenance programs and operational requirements.

✅ The result: documented, traceable compliance and a fleet aligned with EASA’s latest safety expectations.

📅 Is your fleet truly Part‑26 compliant?
Whether you’re operating a single aircraft or managing a diverse fleet, we can support you with clear, efficient and authority‑ready Part‑26 compliance reviews.

👉 Contact us today to discuss your Part‑26 obligations and keep your aircraft compliant, safe and future‑ready.
