Can Reach Remote cover everything? 🤔

Not quite yet.

Some offshore jobs still need large vessels, heavy cranes and people working together at sea.

This video shows one of those jobs.

Our team recently recovered 34 counteracts from the seabed during two offshore trips. The counteracts had helped guide a pipeline into the correct position during installation and had been lying on the seabed for more than a year. Once the work was completed, they were no longer needed — and so we recovered them.

Remote operations are opening new possibilities for our industry. But many tasks still require conventional vessels and offshore crews.

It's not about remote or conventional. It's about using the right solution for the job. ⚓🌊

🚀 Writing history with Aker BP ASA

As a tail-off from completing another project, the USV Reach Remote proved its capacity to perform unmanned subsea operations inside 500m safety zones at the Aker BP-operated Edvard Grieg platform. Through great collaboration with our client, the project was delivered with zero standby time and flawless ex*****on of all work scopes. ✅

This further expands the track record of our WROV-equipped USVs performing subsea operations inside safety zones.

In direct continuation of a pipeline inspection survey for other clients, Reach Remote 1 successfully performed critical subsea inspection and survey operations inside the Aker BP-operated Edvard Grieg safety zone. 🌊

The efficient ex*****on of these operations marks another step forward in how subsea survey and inspection work can be performed.

👏 A big thank you to everyone involved — from our Remote Operations Centres to the teams ashore supporting the operation, as well as our client representatives who helped make this possible.

Update from Reach Subsea Australia

We have entered into a partnership with Beacon Offshore to jointly pursue subsea projects in the region 🤝

The setup combines our engineering and technology offering with two DPII vessels – GO Explorer and GO Supporter – providing a solid platform for operations across subsea, survey and monitoring ⚓️

Construction services underway in the Black Sea—we have signed the contract, following our previously announced Letter of Intent. 🌍⚓

"Our technology and asset base—spanning both conventional and remote operations, as well as subsea, survey and monitoring services—are highly relevant for this region, where we see a growing number of opportunities.
