Today, team colours took over the office. ⚽

Across NOR, colleagues wore their favourite football shirts to mark FotballtrøyeFredag (Football Shirt Friday), a Norwegian initiative by Barnekreftforeningen supporting children and young people affected by cancer.

Different clubs. Different colours. One shared purpose: showing support for children and families affected by cancer, and helping raise awareness for vital childhood cancer research.

Engineered for critical ROV intervention. Ready when it matters most.

NOR’s Blowout Preventer (BOP) Tooling Skid is designed to support secondary emergency well control operations where reliable ROV intervention is required.

Built for connection to most work class ROVs, the skid provides the tool and fluid capacity needed to support BOP ram operation and safe system shutdown in line with API S53 requirements.

The system is designed for a two-stage operation:
Stage one: up to 450 L/min at 90 bar
Stage two: up to 100 L/min at 345 bar

This enables high flow delivery followed by high pressure performance, supporting effective and controlled wellbore sealing in demanding offshore environments.

For operational flexibility, the BOP Tooling Skid can be used with water based glycol, mineral oil or seawater. It runs directly from the ROV main system with zero cross contamination and comes with 2 x 200L soft fluid reservoirs as standard. Once the reservoir fluid has been injected, the system can switch over and continue pumping seawater.

Our team recently carried out a Site Inspection Test on a NOR Subsea Winch 20Te with lifting frame, prepared for offshore subsea pulling operations.

Designed to withstand demanding offshore environments, the winch is operated locally and powered hydraulically from an external HPU supplied by ROV. The system is delivered on a certified lifting frame and can be supplied with mud skirts for placement on soft seabed.

With 218 metres of 30 mm wire rope capacity, 3000 metre depth rating and a robust frame design, this equipment is built for reliable subsea performance where safety, control and operational readiness matter.

Bringing teams together through knowledge sharing 🌍

Our Singapore and Malaysia teams recently came together for a Lunch and Learn session, combining good food, good conversations and valuable insights.

Led by Rahul Sadhasivam, the session focused on sharing knowledge between departments and strengthening the understanding of how different parts of the organisation work together.

Initiatives like this help build a stronger and more connected NOR. When we share experience, perspectives and expertise across teams, we create better collaboration internally and more value for our customers.

We are strengthening our presence in Australia 🇦🇺

Last week, on April 1st, we were pleased to welcome Logan McLennan as Sales Manager, alongside the opening of our new office in Perth.

With more than a decade of experience in the subsea industry, Logan brings strong technical expertise from Survey and ROV companies, combined with a customer-focused approach to offshore operations. His background and regional insight will play an important role in supporting our clients with the right solutions across complex offshore projects.

As Sales Manager Australia, Logan will lead our commercial efforts in the market, - building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and positioning NOR as a trusted partner in the region. Working closely with both regional and group teams, he will play a key role in developing our presence and supporting broader sales initiatives across the region.

“I’m excited to join NOR and bring our subsea equipment offering closer to the local market. I look forward to building strong relationships and supporting our customers in the region.”

The establishment of our Perth office marks an important step in NOR’s continued global expansion and strengthens our ability to support customers locally across Australia and the wider APAC region.
