A great afternoon with the subsea community at NOR Group.

Last Thursday, we welcomed participants from SubOps 2026 (Subsea Operations Conference) to our facilities in Haugesund as part of the conference programme.

We opened our workshop for a tour, giving visitors a closer look at our equipment, facilities and the technical capabilities behind the projects we support.

With the equipment in front of us, the tour naturally led to questions, technical discussions and conversations around real offshore and subsea operations.

A big thank you to Norsk Petroleumsforening, Høgskulen på Vestlandet, Maritimt Forum and everyone who joined us for the afternoon. It was a pleasure to open our doors and be part of this year’s conference.

🌊 Clear visibility at 2,700 metres below the surface.

For a recent deepwater installation, NOR supplied a tailored underwater camera setup combining Whitetip IP cameras from Imenco, the Q-Hub IP underwater Ethernet switch from OTAQ Connectors and an inductive connection from Blue Logic for integration with the ROV system.

The six-channel Q-Hub IP can connect up to six Ethernet devices through a single GBE or 10/100 channel. During the operation, the complete camera setup provided the ROV team with multiple live views of the work area, supporting real-time monitoring at a water depth of approximately 2,700 metres.

A compact solution that expands subsea visibility without the need for additional Ethernet channels.

Six months after ECHO81 became part of NOR, our Houston facility continues to grow.

In this video, Damon Wolfe, Regional Director, NOR Americas, and Evan Martzial, Commercial Manager, NOR Americas, share an update on the progress in Houston.

The update includes recent investments in geophysical and subsea equipment, a newly installed test tank, and the upcoming calibration facility.

Driven by strong customer demand, Houston is becoming an important hub for NOR Americas, supporting offshore, subsea, and geophysical operations across the region.
