We spent the weekend at the FORF seminar, where we showcased our Search and Rescue unit – built to support real operations in challenging conditions.

The response was incredible. So many great conversations, valuable insights, and inspiring people all in one place.

We’re proud to be part of this journey – contributing to smarter, more adaptable tools that support those out in the field.

STORM has developed a Search and Rescue unit for FORF (Frivillige Organisasjoners Redningsfaglige Forum) and we are showcasing this unit at their annual conference this weekend.

Hopefully, all voluntary non-governmental organizations within search and rescue will recognize the benefits of a shared fleet - enabling even closer collaboration and saving valuable time when every second counts.

We also want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all the dedicated volunteers who are an essential part of Norway’s emergency response. Your commitment makes a real difference! 🇳🇴

This weekend, we’re finally taking a few days off - the first time in a while! Some are out hunting moose, others are chasing the sun in warmer climates, and some are enjoying precious time with family and friends.

Last week, STORM had the privilege of presenting our RADS-based rescue prototype at FORF’s annual meeting, held at Redningsselskapet’s headquarters in Horten.

On behalf of Norsk Folkehjelp, we developed a modular and flexible rescue unit based on our RADS platform (Rapid Adapt and Deploy System). The solution enables quick deployment and integration with vehicles - or complete independence from them - making it ideal for dynamic and resource-stretched environments.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our work with the member organizations of FORF and representatives from Gjensidigestiftelsen. The positive reception confirms that scalable, modular solutions like RADS can play a key role in the future of emergency response.
