A baby's internal clock doesn't work like ours. It takes months to develop, and until it does, routine is everything.

Babies thrive on predictability. Same signals, same order, same calm. When bedtime follows a familiar pattern, their little bodies learn what's coming next. Falling asleep, and staying asleep, becomes so much easier.

A simple routine doesn't need to be complicated:

🌙 Dim the lights 30 minutes before bed
🛁 A warm bath or gentle wipe-down
🤱 Quiet feeding in a calm room
🎵 A soft song or a few minutes of closeness
💤 Into the crib, drowsy but awake

Safe sleep starts with the basics. Here's what every first-time parent should know 👇

Always on their back. Every nap, every night.
Firm, flat mattress. No pillows, no blankets, no stuffed animals in the crib.
Room temperature between 16-20°C. Overheating is a bigger risk than most parents realize.
Same room, separate sleep surface for the first six months.
Monitor what you can't see. Heart rate, oxygen levels, and temperature give you real data instead of guessing.
