Langset Solutions is looking for experienced Industrial Mechanics to join an upcoming shipyard project related to the service and overhaul of the installation vessel Flintstone.

The project includes maintenance and installation work on the Stone Dumping Installation (SDU) system, including mechanical tower components, lifting systems and hydraulic equipment.

Start: 27.04.2026
Rotation: 4/2

Your responsibilities:

• Dismantling and installation of mechanical components of the SDU system
• Replacement of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic hoses
• Installation and servicing of sheaves, trolley and hang-off clamp components
• Work on tower hoist mechanisms and guiding systems
• Assembly and adjustment of mechanical parts after OEM overhaul
• Participation in system testing and commissioning
• Working according to technical documentation and safety procedures (LOTO)

Requirements:

• Experience as an industrial mechanic / shipyard mechanic / heavy equipment mechanic
• Experience with industrial hydraulic systems
• Ability to read technical drawings
