It is with deep sorrow that we mark the passing of King Harald.

For so many years, he was Norway’s grandfather - a King known for his warmth, humour and the genuine humanity with which he met others.

In his 2016 speech, King Harald said: “Norway is, above all, people.”

Those words reflected the kind of King he was, one who saw each person, valued our differences, and brought us closer together as a nation.

He will be remembered with great respect and affection, and for the warmth and humanity he brought to his role as King.

Our warmest thoughts are with the Royal Family.

Every rescue begins with someone willing to risk everything.

They are rescue swimmers.

They fly into storms.

They jump into freezing water.

They give complete strangers a second chance at life.

But they are also fathers.

Brothers.

Partners.

Friends.

And they deserve to come home too.

Jørn Anders has spent more than three decades rescuing others. In 2024, he found himself on the other side of the rescue after surviving a helicopter accident.

His story is a powerful reminder that training, teamwork and the right equipment don't just protect professionals they protect the people waiting for them at home.

This is why offshore safety matters.

This is why emergency breathing systems matter.

Most importantly, this is why we continue to innovate: so that those who dedicate their lives to protecting others have every possible chance of making it home.

Tomorrow, millions of Norwegians will be rowing for Norway as the national team faces England.
But one Norwegian has been rowing for Norway every single day.
Since April, Bjarte Vestøl has been rowing solo along the Norwegian coastline. Thousands of kilometres. Changing weather. Endless determination. And with two months still to go, his journey continues.
We're proud to support Bjarte? not just because he wears Hansen Protection, but because he represents the resilience, courage and respect for the sea that have inspired us for nearly 150 years.

What a weekend! 🚣‍♂️

We kicked off the weekend at the Dragon Boat Festival in Moss, ready to give it our all on the water. While we didn’t take home the trophy, we feel like we won where it matters most - through teamwork, collaboration, and great experiences shared together. Congratulations to Kongsberg 1 on winning this year’s Dragon Boat Race! 👏

On Saturday, we continued the weekend at Verket, where we had the pleasure of meeting sailors participating in this year’s Færder Race, as well as many visitors who stopped by our stand. Thank you to everyone who came by for a chat.

A big thank you to Målgang Moss for organizing such a well-executed event - we’re already looking forward to being back next year!
