The history of Optime
Back in 2015 the four founders of Optime had a clear vision to make an everlasting impact in the oil and gas industry. Tor-Øystein Carlsen, Trond Løkka, Jan-Fredrik Carlsen and Thor Arne Løvland shared the same vision. Probably more important, they shared the same ambition – they wanted to make an everlasting change to the subsea oil and gas industry, by going back to basics. They quit their comfortable employment’s and started to work towards executing the vision and ambition.
