This project has been a long time coming. Not only has the design and production of this deceptively simple product taken much more time and effort than we could imagine.

In many ways this project startet way back in 2018, when we were a bunch of people at offices dreaming up Norwegian Trash as a way to get more people to think about, and talk about ocean plastic. Four years later we feel we can launch a product that truly tells the story of Hoddevika and . Both by using hand picked ocean plastic from Hoddevika in each of the 1000 covers, but also by melting the topography of the beach into each cover.

The injection moulds was designed and developed by and milled in aluminium at . Learned so much by keeping this project local.

New project! designed a site-specific lamp for a new building in Vika, Oslo, and we made it happen. Made from vacuum formed recycled trash sheets, the 60 lamps make a warm, glowing ceiling in this office space.

Si hei til Filipine X, en såpeskål designet av , produsert og utviklet med Norwegian Trash i Oslo. Filipine X er laget av plastavfall og ingenting annet. Hver skål er helt unik, med ulik marmorering. 

Filipine X er presset manuelt én og én, på Norwegian Trash sitt verksted i gamlebyen i Oslo. Den er laget av matsikker plast som yoghurtbegre, godteribokser og kyllingkasser samlet inn, vasket og kvernet i Norge. 

Passer til alle såpestykker. Skålen er vaskbar og råtner ikke. 90% PP, 10% PE miks. 

Gratis frakt. Sendes i løpet av 5-7 dager.

Together with Flytende Hage, we are inviting you to our Christmas workshop 4. December at our container and in Flytende Hage glass cube in Sukkerbiten😃 From 11:00 - 16:00. Its a lot that’s happening this day at Sukkerbiten👏🏻 is having an exhibition and Flytende Hage is serving mint tea from their greenhouse. The Greenhouse will be open for guests to see how the grow their 🍃 Come and join us🙏🏻

This Wendsday we are having a new Plastfabrikken Pop-Up event, this time it’s located at our container at Sukkerbiten. We have made a new climbing handle from recycled plastic, come and test it with us on our climbing wall we have created for the event😃

We are also making new things from recycled plastic on our machines. Hope to see you there!
