The book "A Nordic Smart Sustainable City: Lessons from Theory and Practice" is launched in two phases: first, at the Stavanger University Library on May 26th and, then, at Innoasis on June 4th. In these events, the book chapter titled "Enabling the future smart cities: AI-based orchestration of 5G and beyond" is presented by Gianfranco Nencioni and Annisa Sarah, respectively. The book is an effort from the smart sustainable cities research network at UiS.

On May 28th, A has successfully defended her PhD thesis titled "Resource Orchestration in 5G-MEC Systems" after successfully presenting a trial lecture titled "The Role of Generative AI in Future Wireless Networks". Her supervisors have been Gianfranco Nencioni, Ruxandra F. Olimid, and Rosario Garroppo G. Garroppo.
