UNDER ONE ROOF — Last week we were delighted to host our local team, their spouses, and partners from the building process for the grand opening of our new home at Kanalarmen 15.

This facility marks an exciting step forward for Tomax AS, housing our global headquarters alongside our central storage and maintenance operations for Europe and Offshore Africa.

Having everything consolidated under one roof not only creates a great workplace, but also gives us the opportunity to take visitors on end-to-end tours of our operations.

CÔTE D'IVOIRE 🇨🇮 - We are shipping four AST tools from Stavanger, Norway to Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) the very same night our two nations square off at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

Rather than overthinking the coincidence, we just want to promote what is sure to be a great match between two proud teams.

MOTOCROSS events run almost every weekend at local and national levels.

With athletes competing on virtually identical machines, the racing is incredibly tight. Securing a podium finish requires fighting through an exceptionally deep talent pool, making victory entirely dependent on hard-earned skills and sheer determination.

Tomax is proud to be a long-term partner in Adrian Vik’s racing career, supporting his relentless drive to become the fastest rider on the Norwegian West Coast.

CENTRAL STORE 🇳🇴 Tomax tools are used where performance is key, meaning our standards for quality and tolerance are exacting. A decisive element in maintaining these standards is an unrestricted supply of new parts.

Last week, the first automated store section at our new Forus facility entered operation - with the finishing touches added this week. 📸

This system tracks and distributes parts from Scandinavian manufacturers to our key international assembly sites.

HYBRID BIT durability depends heavily on minimizing axial excitation, which can otherwise compromise bit-bearing integrity.

We have consistently developed and demonstrated our ability to counteract self-excitation within the BHA.

When bits configured with rolling cones are used with our latest generation AST regulators, bearing-life issues are effectively eliminated while efficiency increases.

Deep Driller 150 is operated by Norsk Retningsboring as and is making safe progress towards its first geothermal test-point at 1000m (3000 ft) outside of Stavanger city. The hole size is 8 1/2 inch and the drilling rate is controlled at 10-15 meters (30-45 feet) per hour.

In addition to geothermal prospecting, the rig is serving as a platform for a research collaboration with Tomax. The rig provides High-Frequency (HF) drill-string measurements collected by a drill-strong sensor. The recording rate is 4000 Hz.

The well is currently penetrating basement gneiss with layers of biotitt much like the background in the below picture. It was taken when Jøran Austbø, Morten Granhøy-Lieng and Håkon Skjelvik from Tomax HQ visited the rig this week.

Rig manager Ove Heggland (background) was surprised to see how noise and vibration dissapeared with the Tomax research tool.
