STORM welcomes Teledyne FLIR Defense to the RADS ecosystem as a RADS Application Partner.

Signed at , the partnership brings Teledyne FLIR's Black Recon™ vehicle reconnaissance system to RADS. Black Recon lets a crew launch, operate and recover up to three small reconnaissance drones from inside a vehicle, with electro-optical and thermal vision beyond line of sight.

RADS is both a vehicle platform and a way to deploy the capability on its own. Mounted, it turns a vehicle into a launch and recovery platform for Black Recon. Lifted off, the same module works as a standalone drone pod, deployed and operated independently of the vehicle, and it moves between vehicles, or off them, in minutes. The interface also extends beyond pickups to trailers and lighter platforms. This is what RADS is built to be: the open, brand-independent standard that capability plugs into.

We are pleased to announce that STORM has signed a partnership agreement with ISTEC Services Limited, the United Kingdom’s principal supplier of high-quality, precision-engineered small-arm and medium-calibre gun mounts and weapon ancillaries.

The agreement brings together complementary capabilities and marks an important step in expanding the range of solutions available to our customers and partners.

At Eurosatory, visitors can see an example of this collaboration, where iStec's Ring Mount is integrated with our UniCAGE platform.
