Project update from Nesna 🏗️👷♂️
Progress continues to build at our site in Nesna, where the Arctic Seafarm project is moving forward according to plan. The engineering phase is now largely completed, and installation activities are moving full speed ahead.
– Engineering is now, for the most part, completed, and installation works are progressing well. Mechanical and electrical completion of the first systems is planned from week 12, after which we will gradually move into functional testing and commissioning, says Vegard Wigstøl, Project Manager at Eyvi.
Operating on the Helgeland coast during winter is not without its challenges, but it’s also part of what makes the project unique.
– The weather here is very changeable, and it has been extremely cold lately. Still, progress is driven by strong collaboration and commitment across disciplines. Today, around 170 people are working on site, 60 of them for Eyvi. We truly have the best team working around us, says Cato Amundsen, Site Manager at Eyvi.
