IT'S OFFICIAL!🥳

We are happy to announce that KVS-Terratec, a global leader in geodata acquisition and analytics, has acquired all shares in Sevendof AS, in a deal that will significantly increase the company’s competitiveness.

Sevendof was founded in 2016, with the mission to create a long-range performance drone system that can carry out complex missions automatically.

- By combining our drone technology with KVS Terratec’s expertise within geodata and the digitalisation of infrastructure, we will possess the capabilities to solve problems for all parts of the value chain – from drone-based data acquisition to the delivery of processed models – in an efficient and environmentally-friendly manner,’ says Jostein Furseth, CTO of Sevendof

As we are moving onto a new chapter, we want to thank everyone that has supported Sevendof since its foundation.

Svenske Visimind og Trondheim-baserte Sevendof er tildelt delkontrakt for inspeksjon av Agder Energis strømnett.

Together with our partner Visimind we just signed a contract with Agder Energi Nett, and will perform power line inspections on 1 300 km power lines and 15 000 masts this summer.

This is a major milestone for Sevendof, and It’s a joy to see all our efforts in developing a unique industrial hybrid drone transforms into commercial contracts.

We look forward to continue our cooperation and spend the summer in the sunny south 🌞

Agder Energi Nett har inngått nye rammeavtaler med KVS Technologies AS og Visimind AB om fotoinspeksjon og laserskanning av strømnettet i hvert sitt område på Agder. Begge vil benytte autonome droner i arbeidet.

We recently completed "Superdemo 3" to demonstrate a fully automated drone inspection mission. The demonstration shows an automatically planned mission flown by our electric drone prototype "SP05". During flight, our autonomy maps and reacts to the environment to ensure safe and robust operation while being overseen by a remote operator. Through end-to-end automation, Sevendof is working to deliver scalable drone services for industrial use-cases.

Til høsten er det klart for testflyging av en ny type drone langs Skagerak Netts ledningsnett. Dronen flyr på egenhånd og har en rekkevidde på opptil 200 kilometer. Med base i Langesund kan den dekke deler av Grenland og Vestfold.
