Measuring soil health has never been this advanced! 🚀
In this video, I’m showing off my version 1 prototype of a DIY Smart Soil Tester powered by an ESP32.

​Using an industrial 7-in-1 NPK sensor, I can monitor 9 critical parameters in real-time:
✅ Soil Moisture & Temperature
✅ Conductivity (EC)
✅ pH
✅ Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), & Potassium (K)
✅ Salinity & TDS

​I've interfaced a 1.3-inch SH110X OLED display for instant readings in the field and integrated the Blynk IoT platform so I can track my soil data from anywhere in the world on my phone or laptop! 📱💻

​This is the first prototype, so stay tuned for the next video where I’ll be diving into the strict calibration process and code updates for 100% accuracy.

This is something more people seriously need to talk about. Nepal has talent, ideas, and passionate people who genuinely want to build and innovate. But local manufacturing still feels far more difficult than it should be. Importing finished products is often easier than building something within the country, and that clearly shows something in the system needs to change.

If we truly want “Made in Nepal” to grow, then local innovators, startups, and manufacturers need real support, not just slogans and speeches. Better policies, lower barriers, easier access to raw materials, funding opportunities, and long-term encouragement could make a huge difference.

There are many talented people in Nepal working on electronics, robotics, IoT, AI, agriculture technology, renewable energy, and other innovative sectors. Unfortunately, many struggle to continue because the ecosystem is still not supportive enough. Some give up, while others leave the country to pursue better opportunities elsewhere.

Imagine what could happen if these innovators had proper support, manufacturing facilities, technical resources, and market access. Nepal could create thousands of jobs, reduce dependency on imports, and build products that truly represent local innovation and engineering.

“Made in Nepal” should not just be a label. It should become a movement that encourages creativity, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and self-reliance. Real progress happens when people who want to build are supported instead of constantly struggling against the system.
