A drone has huge potential in Nepal, a country which is god gifted with wonderful geography which incl

udes the highest mountain in the world, has eight eight-thousands out of fourteen eight-thousands( mountains that are above 8000 meters tall are called eight-thousands), topographically divided into Himalayan, hilly and terai region. Nepal has so much diversity regarding its geography, topography, landscape, and climatic conditions. Even though it is hard to explore by man, unmanned aerial vehicles(drones) can help us explore all these places and help us plan how to simplify the development works and make human life easier. The infrastructural development has not been so easy or has not been steady as it should have been. To harness development opportunities, the use of drones can offer tremendous opportunities.

Today’s practical class focused mainly on FPV (First Person View) drone demonstrations. The session was led by the Adarsha FPV team and the GarudX team, who showcased advanced FPV flying techniques and real-time control experiences.

The Drone Hub Nepal team also participated in hands-on training using the DJI FPV drone, gaining practical exposure to immersive flight operations. In addition, a Chennai-based drone company, Vayuratha, conducted training sessions using their RPTO-approved drones, providing insights into certified drone operations and safety standards.

Overall, the day was highly practical and informative, enhancing our understanding of FPV systems, drone maneuverability, and professional training standards.
