Here is FTTH (Fiber to the Home) journey:

Simplified 3-Step Installation Guide
⚡ Step 1: Neighborhood Network Connection
We start at the ISP central hub and run the main fiber optic line to the distribution box (FDB) on your nearest utility pole.

🏡 Step 2: The Home Run
From that pole, we carefully run an individual "Drop Cable" directly to your house, ensuring there are no sharp bends.

📡 Step 3: Inside Setup & Activation
Once inside, we terminate the fiber, connect it to the ONT (Modem), and finally to your Wi-Fi Router, where we test the signal and activate your service.

Here are some real site observations and findings 👇🏻

🔥 Fiber Management = Network Stability ko backbone!

🔴 Exposed Fiber (SNAG-01) → Signal loss + Damage risk
🟡 Wrong Bend Radius (SNAG-02) → Light leakage → Performance drop
🟢 Mis-identified Fiber (SNAG-03) → Troubleshooting nightmare 😵‍💫

👉 Clean routing, सही labeling र proper handling नै professional work को चिन्ह हो।

Techguff Networking Series:- Part 6: Subnetting (The Logic Behind the Mask 🎭)

Let’s break it down in a real-world way. 💡
🍕 1. Why Subnetting? (The Pizza Logic)

👉 Chaos, congestion, broadcast storm!

Solution? Subnetting.
ठूलो network लाई स-साना logical groups मा बाँड्ने;
✔️ Management
✔️ Performance better
✔️ Security stronger

Waste Management 🧠
VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Mask)

😷 2. The Mask is the Real Game
IP address

Network
Host

/24, /25, /30; यी numbers होइनन्,
👉 यी हुन् “boundary walls” 🚧

Pro Tip ⚡
👉 /30 = perfect for Point-to-Point links

🏆 3. The 3 Golden Questions
Subnetting solve

1️⃣ Network Address
(Not usable)

2️⃣ Broadcast Address
👉 जहाँ subnet सकिन्छ (Not usable)

3️⃣ Valid IP Range

Field Reality 🔍

🛠️ 4. How to Master Subnetting
✅ Logic

✔️ Binary table (128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1)
✔️ Daily practice

👉 Example:
192.168.10.50/27

😅 Common Student Mistake:

📌 Remember:

🔥 Final Techguff Thought:

💡 Fiber Networking:- The Troubleshooting Masterclass

1. The LOS Mystery (Loss of Signal) 🔴
√ Physical Cut: Fiber
√ Loose Connection: Connector
√ Hardware Fail: SFP module वा OLT port मा समस्या।

2. Attenuation: The Silent Killer 📉
The Fix: Power Meter

3. OTDR: The X-Ray of Fiber 🩺

⚠️ The Golden Rule: Clean Before You Connect!
