Last week, we successfully conducted a 5-day intensive training on Structural Design and Foundation Design of Substations for engineers involved in the 220kV Koshi Transmission Line Project at the office of Nepal Hydro & Electric Limited, Butwal.

The training was focused on practical, project-oriented learning covering:

RCC Control Building Design
Steel Gantry Structure Design
Transformer Foundation Design
Analysis using STAAD.Pro
Design and detailing using RCDC
Design support and automation using Microsoft Excel

The sessions were tailored for Nepal Electricity Authority engineers, focusing on real project challenges, model validation, and design interpretation.
