Chhujung Khola Hydropower Project 63 MW- 4 Hrs Peaking Chhujung Khola Hydropower Project is promoted by Sangrila Urja Pvt. Ltd. The Chhujung Khola is a tributary of the Arun River and is a snow-fed river.

This project is being developed as Peaking Run-of-the-River type hydropower scheme with a capacity of 63 MW. The proposed Chhujung Khola Hydropower Project (CKHPP) is located in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha district in Province 1 of Nepal. Geographically, the project area is located in between Longitude 87° 27’ 04” E - 87° 30’ 09” E and Latitude 27° 44’ 36” N – 27° 46’ 08” N with

elevation range between 1700 to 2800 m above mean sea level. Total catchment area of proposed intake is 203.76 km2 and the gross head available is approximately 910 m.
