Software Freedom Day 2025 – Virtual Edition ✨🚀

We’re excited to welcome Jurgen Gaeremyn as the Keynote Speaker for this year’s celebration! 🎤

Jurgen is a long-time open source advocate from Belgium, actively involved with the Brussels Hackerspace and a proud father of two. His journey with Software Freedom Day began back in 2011 when he first organized the event, and in 2023 he took on a bigger role as a coordinator for the Digital Freedom Foundation (DFF).

With a strong voice on software ethics and the importance of freedom in technology, Jurgen continues to inspire communities worldwide. 🌍💻
