Position: Mechanical Incharge
Location: Sankhuwasabha – Kasuwa Hydropower Project
Department: Mechanical / Plant & Equipment
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Incharge to manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment, vehicles, and heavy machinery at our hydropower project site. The role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting smooth project ex*****on.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily inspection, operation, and maintenance of heavy equipment and vehicles
• Plan and implement preventive & corrective maintenance schedules
• Lead and supervise mechanics and workshop staff
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables
• Maintain equipment utilization, breakdown, and maintenance records
• Coordinate with site engineers, management, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction/infrastructure projects
• Experience in hydropower or similar projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment
• Good leadership, troubleshooting, and reporting skills
Working Conditions:
• Remote hydropower project site
• Field-based role
• Exposure to heavy machinery and site operations
