Glacial Lake-Proud Moment
We are proud to share that Innovative Engineering Services (IES) has successfully completed and submitted the Detailed Bathymetric Survey using DGPS integrated echosounder, Detail topographic survey of Lake surrounding , Hydrological, Sediment and Water quality Data Collection, GPR Survey, Data Analysis, and Final Report for several challenging glacial lakes across Nepal.

This project required the dedication of more than 20 team members, extensive logistics planning, and operations in some of the country's most remote and demanding environments. Every challenge was met with teamwork, commitment, and professionalism.

The positive feedback and appreciation from our client made every difficult day and every challenge worthwhile. We sincerely thank our entire team and our client for their trust, support, and collaboration.

📍 Project Successfully Completed-Total 226 Nos of Discharge measurement for 25 Hydrological stations.

Innovative Engineering Services (IES) has successfully completed all field investigations, discharge measurements, and data analysis for the Intensive Discharge Measurement of Hydrological Stations across the Bagmati, Koshi and Kamala Basin.

The project has developed reliable discharge datasets and rating curve equations, providing essential hydrological information for the planning and design of water resources projects.

That is exactly when our Early Warning System wakes up and starts remaining vigilant, monitoring continuously, and delivering early warning information when it matters most.

We are proud to establish a Flood Early Warning System in the eastern part of Nepal this monsoon, helping provide timely alerts to protect lives and property when every second counts.

Successfully Completed LiDAR Survey at Manang, Nepal

Innovative Engineering Services (IES) has successfully completed a LiDAR Survey at Manang district , generating high-resolution Orthomosaic, DSM, and DTM datasets to support river modeling and hydraulic analysis.

The project also included river bed surveys using DGPS and Total Station (TS) to ensure accurate terrain and channel geometry for engineering applications.

LiDAR Survey for Sediment Volume Analysis

Innovative Engineering Services (IES) has successfully completed a LiDAR survey project in the eastern part of Nepal for detailed sediment volume analysis. The project covers a 35 km study corridor, where 10–12 integrated field activities are being carried out, including topographic surveys, bathymetric surveys, sediment investigations, Bed material sampling, Core drilling ,inventory survey and geospatial data collection. This comprehensive dataset will support accurate sediment quantification and informed river management and engineering decisions.

Innovative Discharge Measurement Using TQ-F Technology

Innovative Engineering Services (IES) has successfully completed one of Nepal's innovative hydrological projects by implementing TQ-F (Mobile Discharge Measurement with Uranine Tracer) for discharge measurement in snow-fed rivers at Humla District and Manang Distric of Nepal.

This advanced tracer dilution technology is ideal for very cold water, steep river gradients, high flow velocities, narrow gorges, and boulder-bed channels, where conventional discharge measurement methods are difficult or unsafe. It provides accurate, reliable, and safe discharge measurements while significantly reducing field risks, making it an innovative solution for hydrological monitoring in challenging Himalayan environments.

बाढी पूर्वसूचना प्रणाली: सानो लगानी, ठूलो सुरक्षा !!!
पछिल्ला केही वर्षहरूमा नेपालका पहाडी तथा हिमाली क्षेत्रहरूमा बाढी, पहिरो तथा आकस्मिक जलप्रवाहका कारण ठूलो जनधनको क्षति भएको छ। विशेषगरी जलविद्युत आयोजनाहरू तथा निर्माण स्थलमा करोडौं रुपैयाँ बराबरका उपकरण बगेर गएका छन्, निर्माण संरचनाहरू नष्ट भएका छन्, र दुःखद रूपमा धेरैले ज्यानसमेत गुमाएका छन्।
सम्भावित क्षतिको १% भन्दा पनि कम लागतमा स्थापना गर्न सकिने पूर्वसूचना प्रणाली (Early Warning System) ले हुन सक्ने प्रकोपको समयमै सूचना प्रदान गरी मानिस, उपकरण तथा परियोजनालाई सुरक्षित राख्न मद्दत गर्दछ।
Innovative Engineering Services ले नेपालका विभिन्न भौगोलिक तथा प्राविधिक अवस्थाहरूलाई ध्यानमा राखी:

The task inside a hydropower tunnel is never easy, but we do not limit ourselves to the easiest assignments only.

Recently, we have conducted hands-on training for the client on MPBX data retrieval within a hydropower tunnel.
