Better Homes Private Limited is a privately owned small construction company registered in Nepal as per the Nepal Company Act 2006. It is located at Dhobighat, Lalitpur. It consists of a team of architects, engineers, supervisors, and construction workers. It is jointly owned by Mr. Narayan Rijal and Er. Bipin Bhatta. Narayan Rijal is an experienced businessman working in the construction industry
over the past decade and Bipin Bhatta is a Civil Engineer of sound technical knowledge with over 10 years of experience in building design and construction. There were two major reasons for the establishment of the company. First, after being engaged in the construction field for a decade, both of us observed that designing and building a home is a very tedious and hectic job for people. Almost everyone needs a home and people are from varying backgrounds with zero to very little knowledge of design and construction. There are many steps and people involved in the process. For instance, conceptualization and design works are done by architects and engineers (structural, electrical, sanitary) which are then processed to municipal officials for approval. The finalized design is then forwarded to the contractors (civil contractors, sub-contractors, interior planners and decorators, etc.). The time for this entire process averages a year in minimum and could go up to a few years depending upon the complexity of the project and circumstances. Furthermore, many projects are not built with sound engineering guidelines. As our country, especially the valley is a major earthquake zone and is vulnerable to frequent seismic impacts, proper construction methods could not only prevent damage of property but also many lives. Hence we decided to establish a company that could dedicate itself to providing a one-stop solution to safe and aesthetically pleasing building construction, right from the beginning till handover. Secondly, since both of us were service-oriented and had gathered a fair amount of experience in the field, it was high time to start a business venture of our own to serve better service. We intend to provide the following services to you:
· Designing and preparing aesthetically pleasing building drawings as per client’s requirement, keeping in mind the municipal bylaws to be followed.
· Providing hassle-free service on municipal registration and stepwise approval.
· Construction and handover of the project following sound engineering guidelines and with due consideration of the client’s finances. Basically, we take care of everything from the day you made the decision of building a home to the day we hand over the keys for you to move into your new home or office.
