We are very pleased to share that HTR–EES JV has successfully completed the Geological Mapping of the Reservoir Area and Powerhouse Area of the Chhimdi–Kuwadi Storage Hydroelectric Project (171 MW).
The geological investigation and mapping were carried out to support a better understanding of the regional and site-specific geological conditions, including rock types, structural features, discontinuities, and other important geological characteristics relevant to the project’s planning and design.
This field investigation marks an important step toward the Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS) of this major hydropower project.
We sincerely appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and hard work of our geologists, engineers, field teams, and supporting staff who contributed to the successful completion of this challenging field assignment.

(HTR-EES JV) has officially signed a contract with Sangrila Urja Limited to undertake the Detailed Feasibility Study for the Chhimdi–Kuwadi Khola Storage Hydroelectric Project (171 MW). This significant milestone reflects the confidence placed in our technical expertise and reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality engineering solutions for Nepal’s hydropower sector. The detailed engineering design of the Waste Storage Dam at the Banchare Danda Landfill Site was carried out by Epicenter Engineering Solution Pvt. Ltd. - EES Nepal for the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC).
The proposed dam has a height of more than 45 meters. The first stage of the project has already been constructed and is functioning successfully.
We are delighted to have contributed to this important national infrastructure project and to the sustainable development of the nation.
