Modern Mixed-Use Building in Kumaripati, Lalitpur
Located in the bustling core of Kumaripati, Lalitpur, this mixed-use development exemplifies the integration of commercial, office, and residential functions within a single architectural form. Designed with a focus on modern lifestyles, the building emphasizes efficiency, comfort, and a bold contemporary identity. The façade presents a striking interplay of vertical glass fins, textured brick screens, and stone cladding—balancing openness with privacy while creating a strong urban presence. Expansive glazing allows natural light to flood the interiors, enhancing visual connection with the streetscape and offering a sense of transparency and vibrancy.

Clean horizontal lines, cantilevered slabs, and sleek glass railings bring sophistication to the overall form, while landscaped terraces and balconies introduce refreshing green elements into the vertical fabric. 🏠 Transformation Story | Devdaha-1, Rupandehi

This residence, located in Devdaha-1, 6 Number Bazar, Rupandehi, carries a long-standing connection with our close circle of friends. Originally built in 2058 B.S., the house reflected the traditional construction practices of that time — functional but limited in structural planning and aesthetics.

When the client approached us for renovation and vertical extension, the project came with its own challenges. The existing structure was built using old methods, without formal architectural or structural design. After thorough consultation with our structural engineers and close coordination with our architectural design team, we carefully developed a plan to strengthen, modernize, and reimagine the house — while retaining its sentimental value.

The transformation began in 2022, and today, the house proudly stands as a symbol of how thoughtful design and engineering can breathe new life into old structures. What was once a modest single-story dwelling has now evolved into a modern multi-storey residence, harmonizing function, strength, and aesthetics.

In areas like Devdaha, where the practice of involving architects or engineers in house design is still rare, this project stands as an example of how professional guidance can make a significant difference — not only in looks but also in safety, comfort, and long-term value.
