Builder tip 👇⚒️

Instead of mitring the decking where it changes direction, we install a breaker board.

Why? Because timber moves. Mitres will open up over time, but a breaker board allows for movement while giving a cleaner, longer-lasting finish.

It’s the little details that make all the difference. 👌

The difference between a good deck and a great deck is in the details.

Taking the time to carefully lay every decking board, keeping spacing consistent and lining everything up properly creates a finish that not only looks better but lasts longer. It’s the attention to detail that makes all the difference.

From an old unused deck above the garage to a stunning, spacious new living area. ✨

This extension and full renovation in Somerville completely transformed the heart of the home, creating a bright, open-plan space designed for modern family living.

The project included a new roof, insulation, joinery, a brand-new kitchen, and a seamless extension that has given this home a whole new lease on life.
