Project spotlight: Te Toi Uku - Crown Lynn & Clay Museum, Ambrico Place.

We’re proud to work with Auckland Council to complete the roof replacement and interior fit-out for this unique space, home to the renowned Crown Lynn collections and the vibrant Ambrico community hub.

This project was delivered within budget and on-time, in just 6 weeks!

More than just a building, Te Toi Uku is a place that fosters community inclusion - where local children from the nearby daycare get to explore and play with clay, connecting with the area’s rich creative heritage.

Supporting spaces that bring people together and celebrate local culture is what drives us.

Flashback to the 2024 Strong Person Event!

Last year’s event brought the energy! From jaw-dropping feats of strength to powerful
moments of unity and community spirit.

Stronghold Group was proud to stand alongside athletes, whānau, and supporters as a sponsor of a day that celebrated more than just physical endurance - it was about grit, resilience, and connection.

We’re counting down to this year’s event on Saturday 27th September - and if last year was

One of the highlights of the Glasgow Park build!

Hosting a very special site visit from the tamariki of Waimauku Kindergarten. As part of their local curriculum and Te Whāriki early childhood programme, the children came on a real-world excursion to see our team lift the precast concrete panels into place.

To make it a day to remember:
- We created custom Stronghold “Junior Crew” high-viz vests for the tamariki
- Set up bench seats and a gazebo safely behind the barriers so they had a clear view of the crane at work
- Donated a set of carpentry tools for their kindergarten carpentry table (sized for little hands, big imaginations)

These kinds of moments remind us that construction is not just about buildings — it’s about people, learning, and legacy.

Ka rawe, Waimauku Kindergarten — thank you for being part of this kaupapa.
