🚨JOB ALERT ‼️Service Supervisor 🚨
Ice Tech seeks an Experienced Refrigeration Technician with Water Chiller service + repairs experience. Industrial Refrigeration, including Ammonia, is desirable but not essential.
You must be a New Zealander or have Residence status. Ice Tech isn’t an Immigration New Zealand-approved business, so we can’t accept applications from candidates without full working rights in New Zealand.
As a Service Supervisor, you’ll assist with and manage the Service business. This includes planning and scheduling service and maintenance work, responding to customer requests, and proactively pricing remedial repairs plus following up with technicians reports and recommendations.
You’ll supervise and teach younger staff, become a key team member, and work both on the tools and in the office in Silverdale as required. You will also be on the on-call roster.
The role involves both hands-on work and office responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will evolve into a Service Manager over the next few years.
Ice Tech offers a competitive hourly rate above market standard for the right candidate with the required experience. A new vehicle, including a mobile phone, laptop, PPE and uniform, will also be provided.
The role will require 40 hours per week minimum, with overtime expected when necessary.
Ice Tech provides a diverse work environment, with no two days being the same. You may work on a 1.5Mw water chiller one day then the next an Ammonia Refrigeration plant, then the next a buildings HVAC & Mechanical system.
We work in many different industries including Food Manufacturing, Power stations, Hotels, Hospitality, Marine.

You wont be hired purely based on your technical knowldge your attitude willingness and how well you can show us how you will intergrate well into our small team environment are major factors.
