I replaced the old 160L Dux ProFlo with a brand new Rheem Stainless Steel 180L tank along with new valves and pipe work. Is your hot water NOT as hot as it used to be or is your water extremely hot???? Well this valve could be the issue... It's called a tempering valve and it's purpose is to keep your hot water coming to your taps at a safe temperature. After many years of use they quite often fail giving you cooler water or hotter water than it should be. If this is how your hot water system is working please contact me and I'll get it Fixed for you 🙌👍
