We are Matrix Development NZ Ltd and we are Auckland Based residential and commercial construction company. Right now, we are looking for experienced Carpenters and Carpenter labourers to join us.We are welcome local people to work with us.
Here are the roles:
• Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Measure, cut, or shape timber, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials.
• Construct building frameworks, including but not limited to wall studs, floor joists, and door frames.
• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework, using hand tools and wood screws, nails dowel pins, or glue.

• Work on top of stilts, ladders, scaffold, top beams of buildings, etc.
• Reporting to the Site foreman Carpenter and working as part of a team.
Here are the requirements for the role:
• Understand building plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures
• Plan the ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts
• Measure and cut materials to the right size and shape
• Assemble and nail the prepared timber parts to form structures and fittings
