🏠 RE-CLADDING THAT BOOSTED HOME VALUE 📈

We're excited to share one of our success stories! Our team undertook an incredible re-cladding project that transformed a leaky house into a stunning property. 🏡💰

The original construction had its challenges, but we worked closely with a surveyor and Council building inspectors to address the issues and create a watertight home. We replaced the cladding with a vertical cedar cavity system, upgraded the windows and doors to double-glazed Vantage Metro, and completely revamped the interior for a fresh and modern look. 🛠️✨

The result? A home that achieved its maximum value and exceeded expectations. It was sold for $1.75 million and later resold for $2.3 million, proving the success of our approach.

Let's continue discussing the Long Drive Project.
Internally, the home underwent a remarkable transformation to address its dated appearance as well. The kitchen and bathrooms were thoughtfully redesigned, incorporating an extensive use of tiles and mirrors for a modern touch. To enhance the aesthetic appeal, the internal staircase was upgraded with sleek glass handrails. The previous preference for rimu timbers and finishes by the previous owners was replaced with painted surfaces, giving the area a fresh and uplifting ambiance.
Additionally, the original carpet, carefully stored during the rebuild, was refitted, while new tiled floors were laid in the foyer and wet areas. We went the extra mile to ensure comfort by installing three air conditioning units, a water heater, and cabinetry in the garage. The project in Muriwai Valley entailed constructing a deck with a roof, allowing the clients to relish their bush surroundings while seamlessly connecting with the environment. All building products used in construction were of the highest quality and designed to last for a lifetime of use and enjoyment. The renovation project at Edmund Street included several changes such as upgrading the roof from a flat membrane one to a low pitched color-steel roof. The lower bathroom was also renovated and transformed into the main bathroom. The master bedroom now features a new ensuite, and a new terrace was added next to the dining room. Additionally, new double-glazed windows and doors were installed throughout the house. The kitchen underwent a redesign to include a breakfast bar island, adding a contemporary touch to the house's overall appearance. As part of the renovation, a combination of Cedar vertical board and painted horizontal board cladding was incorporated into the design.

"It is with great enthusiasm that we write this letter of recommendation in support of Parris Williams Building Contractors Limited. Firstly, they recommended Alan Shannahan Architects who designed a very special and beautiful home for us at Muriwai, West of Auckland city. Peter And Shaun were recommended to us by a friend who would agree that they are certainly outstanding professionals whose excellent work merits recognition, technically competent with an eye for detail and line they understand proportion and they will not compromise on quality. The site that our home was to be built on was coastal and in a high wind zone testing these builders to their limits, sometimes raining uphill and in very rough conditions, at all times they were pleasant and courteous, as well as the subcontractors they brought with them, everyone working as a team. Peter and Shaun exceeded the level of customer service/satisfaction we were expecting and we have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of workmanship, professionalism and integrity, work ethics being truly exceptional.
