Gear maintenance and cleaning..
There's no substitute for cleaning your gear after a mission. I was only on the beach for a few hours but that sand and salt will remain in the gear if not cleaned.

Next up is my Makaira 10ll, c/w everything originally supplied inc. Tool, regular CAM as well as TDC CAM, harness lugs, paperwork and box.
Reel is absolutely mint, no scratches and fully spooled with braid ready to fish.
Very hard to find these open top OG Goldie Makaira's especially in this condition.
Perfect for stray lining for XOS Snapper or live baiting for pelagics.

My Ge**er machete had some nicks and chips..
25 degrees per side on the Tormek DC200 diamond wheel has eliminated them and it's now back in the game..
