It usually has no signs or symptoms, so the only way to know whether you have high blood pressure is to get it checked. But don’t worry, it can be managed with lifestyle changes and medication. ⁠

So, get yourself and your friends checked when Stroke Aotearoa’s Blood Pressure Check team are at Highbrook Crossing. ⁠

The experienced team will provide free blood pressure (BP) and pulse checks. They’ll also provide lifestyle advice to help reduce stroke risk. ⁠

WHEN: 10am - 2pm Wednesday 12 August.

Each BP check takes about 10 minutes per person, and the team can check two people at a time.⁠
