What to check before installing stairs**

🪵 Handrail nogs:
Tight, solid, and strong enough to hold weight.
📏 Stair opening:
Correct size — no twists, no gaps, no misalignment.
🚶‍♂️ Clearance:
Minimum 2 m headroom for safe access.
🛠️ Framing:
Straight, firm, and no loose fixings.

There are two main ways to install cladding — Direct Fix and Cavity Batten! 🏠

🔹 Direct Fix: Cladding is fixed straight onto the building wrap — simple, but less ventilation.
🔹 Cavity Batten: Adds a 20mm gap behind cladding for airflow and drainage 💨💧 — better protection against moisture!
