How often should you get your commercial site pressure washed?

It depends on the site, but here's a rough guide:

High traffic areas (loading docks, entrances, car parks) — every 6 to 12 months. Grease, oil and grime build up fast and become a slip hazard.

General yard and concrete areas — annually is a good baseline. More often if you're in a food production, waste management or heavy industrial environment.

Building exteriors and walls — every 1 to 2 years. Moss and algae in particular will cause long term surface damage if left unchecked.

The honest answer? Most commercial sites leave it too long. By the time it looks bad, it's already been a compliance risk for a while.

This wall took a hit, fire damage left a deep black stain right across the brickwork. After a proper pressure wash and clean, you'd never know it happened.
