One of our more recent cleans carried out in a new build that was installed only about 18 months ago. The problem is very common so it always pays to look inside of your unit regardless of how old it is.

Unfortunately the owners had paid someone recently to do a deep clean. When questioned about the mould on the fan wheel, the technician said that it couldn’t be cleaned, yet still charged a crazy amount🤯

Unit is now free of mould and ready for Summer☀️

One of the dirtier heat pumps we’ve had to clean this year. With young children in the home, this was a great way to ensure they could provide warm, clean air for their tamariki.

• Allergies from dust and mould

A few issues that can arise if your filters aren’t being checked and cleaned regularly. A quick spray from the outdoor hose or in the sink should do the job if they haven’t reached this stage😷

With Summer officially over, we can start to enjoy cooler nights and give our Heat Pumps a much needed rest from the 24/7 ice blast that some of us needed🙋🏾‍♂️

With the constant cooling and the humidity that we’ve had, comes potential for mould to grow.
This unit had its filters cleaned regularly and the last serviceman tried their best to wipe inside, but left the fan barrel alone🦠
We got a call and were able to finish the job.

We also have access to filters compatible with all major home ventilation systems. We can supply them and if needed, fit them for you. Not everyone likes to crawl in ceiling spaces, particularly during summer!
Recommended change is every 12 months and generally, you will have a filter light on your wall controller to remind you.
