Here is a great example of what we like to get up to

This is a 2022 Toyota Fortuner that has just had a massive transformation on its back end.
Aftermarket rear bumpers for these are very limited and didn’t even come close to ticking all the boxes that this customer was after.
💯% designed and fabricated in house.
Built to last a life time and look good doing it!
There are a heap of big and small features of this bumper that truly makes it one of a kind.
Some of these features include
🟢 3mm pressed steel bumper

🔴 2x 12mm recovery points that are easy to get to and tied directly to the chassis for maximum strength.

🟤 High clearance tow bar integrated into the tow points while using all factory bolting points on the chassis.

🔵 Dual swing arounds to carry the full size spare and 2x 20L containers, with the features of a decent size drop down table for those quick snack stops or even to prep dinner on.
Along with gas struts on both swing arounds to make sure they stay open when you’re parked up.

🟡 12,000lb full size winch tucked away and very well protected from what ever you throw at it.

🟣 Stedi flush mount lights for those moments your playing in the dark along with additional tail,brake& indicators.

🟠 Scrub bars with roll cage joiners already in place for when the next stage of bar work happens.

🔵 Rubber bump stops on the swing arounds and table to make sure there nice and quite while travelling.

⚪️ colour matched powder coating to match the front Toyota bar and to ensure a long lasting coating.

We’re super happy with the end results of this bumper and glad we can put our name on it.
With so much going on it required a massive amount of forward planning and design to ensure everything came together looking well and functioning how it should.

As we head towards Christmas and new years at a alarming rate I’m sure most of you are planning a trip away. If you’re after some last minute mechanical or fabrication repairs then get in touch.

Here at MulletManFab we’re proud of the work we do, so it’s only fitting to brand the cool things we get up to. Thanks to NT Engineering Group for there drawing and Lazer cutting services to help us show off our work. These are cut out of 4mm stainless steel as we were after a bit of depth to the logo. The cut quality and detail of the modern world is impressive.

A few weeks ago you may have seen Bonnie the blue xj jeep and how were prepping it for the 2026 ultra4 race in woodhill forrest. Well that event has just been and somehow Bonnie held up like an absolute champ! Bonnie and her 30” tires means we fall into the 4600 class also known as stock class, this means we had a total of 3 bypasses in our lap due to how extreme the lap was in places. In saying that tho it was still over 3 non stop hours of abuse on the 7km circuit and being able to make it to the end was enough for us. Throughout the look lap we were battling with a bad miss at low rpm. After the second lap we came in to the pits to swap seats and probably call it after the 3rd lap due to the miss. A couple of minutes of my fat foot on the skinny pedal and the miss had cleared and we continued to push to the finish and coming away with 3rd overall @11 laps down, some great laughs over the helmet coms and a couple of bigs hits that Bonnie didn’t complain about. Massive shout out to Joe for making it happen and sharing that drivers seat. Bring on the 2027 Possum enduro 🤙

Bonnie came into 2026 not knowing what was heading her way! It all started as a joke over the phone 7 days before the 2026 possum palace enduro. 3 days later this xj was in the work shop getting a 6pt roll cage, harnesses , full lift kit steering upgrades and more. It was a hectic 4 nights to get her ready but it paid off and done well at possum. Including driving onto the trailer after the weekend was done. Fast forward 7 months and here we are, prepped and ready for 2026 ultra4 race in woodhill forest. Joe and I entered in the OG ULTRA4 back in 2019 also at woodhill forest. So it only seemed fitting that we give it another nudge.
