Bonnie came into 2026 not knowing what was heading her way! It all started as a joke over the phone 7 days before the 2026 possum palace enduro. 3 days later this xj was in the work shop getting a 6pt roll cage, harnesses , full lift kit steering upgrades and more. It was a hectic 4 nights to get her ready but it paid off and done well at possum. Including driving onto the trailer after the weekend was done. Fast forward 7 months and here we are, prepped and ready for 2026 ultra4 race in woodhill forest. Joe and I entered in the OG ULTRA4 back in 2019 also at woodhill forest. So it only seemed fitting that we give it another nudge.

Here we have before and after picture of this Nissan civilian bus that we have completed. This has been a great upgrade for this tidy original camper while keeping oem service parts, even keeping A/C and the factory exhaust brake. This camper won’t be the one holding you up on the hills with this set up. Here we are everyone, getting into the projects we already have lined up!
The last month has been huge with completing the framing and flooring on a mezzanine for in the work shop and having a massive tidy up. In with that there was work full time, some house Reno’s and general life that never seems to slow down.

Here’s just a couple of old projects that I’ve done over the years. Most of which was out of a double garage and normally then it was out side in the wind and rain. So we’re very fortunate to have built a work shop and like everything we will be improving that too! Heaps of cool plans and ideas for in the work shop that I’ll do up dates on also. While off-road fab is what we specialise in it’s definitely not what we’re limited to. So if you have a not so off-road project, your every day run around or just a broken part etc then still flick us a message and we’ll let you know how we can help. While we are based in Whangarei we can also help with transport north and south of us. Cheers everyone 🤙

Here we have one very cool build on the go and I’m really excited to get into this one!
40 series cruiser (what’s left of it any way) and a heap of good bits.
This truck will be competing in the outlaw class of winch challenge here in the North Island.
