Every now and then we take some time away from building trucks to tackle a few custom jobs. 🛠️✨Here’s a fresh batch of stainless steel brackets we knocked out for Fulton Hogan. The boys did a great job on these, getting them TIG welded up perfectly, followed by a clean pickle paste finish to give them that top-tier corrosion resistance.Awesome to have a team on the tools that can adapt and weld all sorts of materials to a high standard. No matter the metal or the client, the team delivers.

From the old rig to the new... and a bit of movie magic in between! 🎥✨We took on the task of transferring this film set changing room box body onto its new chassis.The old main runners had seen better days and were heavily rusted, so we upgraded the framework to heavy-duty, galvanised RHS to prevent future corrosion. We also handled the tail lift installation and certification to get the truck completely road-ready. 🛠️🚚Another custom build out the door and ready for action! 🌟

Here’s an awesome transformation and repurpose of a flat deck truck and a second-hand crane into a workhorse ready to lift for years to come! 🛠️🚛✨ We have been busy turning out high-spec modifications for years, and we are finally pulling back the curtain on some of our favorite custom builds.Take a look at this complete structural overhaul on a Mitsubishi Fuso Sh**un. We gave both the truck and a quality pre-owned Palfinger PK 24000 crane a completely new lease on life. Every project we touch is built to last, fully compliant, and has certified (LT400) signed off to handle the heavy work safely and consistently. Whether it’s a fresh build or a repurposed upgrade, we handle heavy transport modifications from raw steel to final engineering certification. Turning a standard tipper into a MONSTER BIN BUILD! 👹🚛 💥 A proper blast from the past! Throwback to our days down in Kumeu with this one. We had the opportunity to take a standard tipper bin and completely transform it into an absolute beast purpose-built for the tree game.To give it the ability to move massive amounts of mulch, logs, and even the odd machine inside, a standard box just wasn’t going to cut it. The Build Highlights: 📐 The Capacity: Added massive extra-tall custom sides. 🚪 The Access: Fabricated a huge heavy-duty rear door. 💪 The Strength: Cut out the original upright rear beams and replaced them with completely new, much thicker steel to handle the serious weight and abuse.From a basic tipper to a high-volume arborist workhorse—built tough to survive the daily grind.Who remembers this one rolling out of the Kumeu yard? 👇.

From tractor unit to rigid workhorse. Isuzu Giga transformation! 🇳🇿🚛We didn’t catch many photos at the start of this project, but we managed to grab one as a bare cab and chassis right after the tractor unit gear was stripped off.With a quality second-hand steel bin, new PTO pump, custom hoses, a fresh coat of paint, and a new brake cert and LT400, this setup went straight from towing to rigid. Now it’s out on New Zealand roads and straight to work.Check out the quick transformation! 👇

Well it’s been a while since posting but after being asked numerous times over the years if we’re still open and still building trucks we thought we would lift the welding helmet and share a few crazy ideas and projects we have taken on over the years. First we’ll start with a old Isuzu scrap truck with its flat deck and crane looking a bit worn out. Removing all the unwanted steel and adding new tie rails both sides, paint and polish and then fresh new lt400 cert she was brought back to life and off to its new home.
