The grandstand at Manukau Velodrome has been a South Auckland landmark since it was built in 1989, ready for the 1990 Commonwealth Games - and right now, it's getting the attention it deserves.

We're proud to be supporting Legacy Construction on the refurbishment of this iconic facility, providing full scaffold access across the grandstand structure to enable works on this heritage-laden building at the heart of the Manukau Sports Bowl.

From trackside to roofline, the team has delivered a safe, efficient working platform around a structure that's hosted national champions and Commonwealth athletes alike.

Great to be part of breathing new life into a piece of Auckland sporting history. 🚴‍♂️

Auckland Transport Waipuna Bridge 🌊. One of the more satisfying jobs on our books right now, and we're only just getting started.

Working with Freyssinet, our team is delivering pier encapsulation and bridge joint access across a structure sitting over a live tidal harbour in Auckland. Five piers to wrap in total. Two down, three to go. Plus, an engineered suspended access scaffold to two bridge joints, launched off two of the piers.

Every platform is built from brackets fixed into the piers and wrapped for environmental containment - tide, wind, and a working marina below. The equipment is delivered by barges and floating work decks, because there's no ground to stand on.

The engineering is led by Temporary Works Consulting, our in-house chartered engineers within the NZS Group - PS1s, design iterations, independent review and final sign-off, and every hard question is answered before a single standard goes up. Design and delivery are pulling in the same direction. On a job like this, that matters.

The encapsulation is clean, tight, and visible from every angle of the harbour. The bridge joint platforms add another layer of complexity, hung off the underside of the bridge structure, providing access and a full working platform for the Freyssinet team.

🏙️ Above the Auckland skyline at 80 Queen Street.

Our crew delivered a rooftop scaffold and scrim containment solution on one of the CBD's most recognisable towers - keeping the building, the public below, and our team safe throughout the works.

The job ran across both day and night shifts, with full traffic management in place for night operations over Queen Street. A big thanks to Maggie liang and Proactive Traffic Management for keeping the ground-level operation running smoothly - closed crossings, footpath diversions, and a safe corridor through one of the city's busiest streets. 🚦

We worked closely with our client, Acored, from the start, building a clear programme with defined milestones and coordinating closely with BNZ and Colliers throughout. Seamless from start to finish. 🤝
