We've been treated to some stunning sunrises while we're putting the finishing touches on this renovation and reclad down at Milford Beach. For cladding, we used shadowclad to create a board and batten finish. This fits in very well with the modern beach look.

It's been a rough start to the week with terrible weather for everyone. We always appreciate shrink-wrap on our jobs over the winter. This week we've been able to construct the new roof on a high end renovation and reclad overlooking Saint Heliers.

We are currently hiring site mangers, carpenters, hammer hands and apprentices to join our team. We have lots of good projects coming up so the positions will be ongoing and stable.

Our work is mainly focused on high end residential reclads and renovations so a good eye for detail is a must. The jobs are well organised and provide a good friendly learning environment.

We've recently started this reclad & renovation for a great family in Torbay.

The scope involves:
- 2x additions
- New roof construction
- New impressive open plan floor layout
- A new kitchen
- A mix of new claddings
- New double glazed joinery

It's going to be stunning.

These photos show a small case study of a recent job we have been working on. The client recently had a bathroom renovation done but unfortunately once the plaster cladding was removed a small amount of decay was identified.

We've seen less experienced builders rip the decayed framing out and subsequently damage the tiles and substrate. This causes unnecessary additional cost for the client.

Licensed Reclads were able to complete the frame replacement without damaging the new bathroom tiles or substrate. This was done through using experience and a few tricks learnt along the way.

Good maintenance plays a part in the health of your home. If you have direct fix plaster cladding and untreated timber framing it pays to be vigilant. These pictures show a leaking downpipe touching the plaster cladding has soaked through causing the framing to rot.

We started this reclad and renovation in Saint Heliers before the lockdown. It's going to be an amazing looking home once complete. Fingers crossed we can be back working on it soon.

A neat and tidy reclad we completed last year. Although in between two other plaster homes the reclad works were possible with careful detailing.

My 11yr old son Leo is doing a sponsored mountain bike ride for a charity he is supporting as part of a school project.
It's a great charity that is doing a fantastic but important job and needs all the help it can get.
If you haven't heard of the Saving Hope Foundation I encourage you to have a look at the link below.
Leo is planning to ride 30kms on his mountain bike at Woodhill to show his support.
If you feel like making a donation to this charity I'm sure they would be grateful.
Even if it's a small amount it all helps and is appreciated.
